I made a comment re: Bayou Country that AP Cosmo’s Factory does not sound as good as original fantasy Bayou Country. Obviously I was comparing apples to oranges— few records sound as good as original pressing Bayou Country. This AP re-issue compares favorably to my early Cosmo’s Factory, and is much quieter, if slightly tamer.

"Cosmos Factory" is my first introduction to the band. I listened "Ramble Tamble" for the first time in a bar, late at night. A strong opening for a consistent album, the John Fogerty vocals, the warm RCA sound of my brazilian copy, and the instrumental background gave you one of the best classic rock experience or introduction to the genre.

Great release of a great album. Super-quiet straight out of the shrink. Plays with good dynamic range, and it’s cleaner at the bottom and top end than my copy from the 60s. (The kicks, snares, and toms really shine.) I love the warmer, grittier sound of the older record, too, don't get me wrong, but I'm thrilled to have a copy I can play loud.
